This Wednesday at Space 120 you can come and get your Latin rhythms on.
Latina Obscura is going to be a show that will feature a bunch of different types of sultry sexiness. From poetry (slam) readings, to vinyl records in rotation (courtesy of Planet Lunch), to open jazz band sessions to professional Bossanova/Banda musicians coming through. All are encouraged to bring their open minds, instruments, and good vibes.
Amongst the music, the night will feature 4 female acts and 4 male acts… playing with the theme of love and hate, day and night, man vs. woman.
All are welcome to come, as it is free and open to everyone that’s 21+.
Eduardo Valadez, one of the party organizers, will be performing poetry and playing jazz music.
Along with Ruth Nolan, a College of the Desert and University of California, Riverside English Literature and Creative Writing professor.
