Explorations of the Desert: Paintings by the Pool

This week while we were exploring through the wild world wide web and blog worlds, we came across this delightfully pleasing post on Ace Hotel’s blog. Below are a series of paintings created by artist, Samantha French, capturing her time spent by the pool in Palm Springs.

It might be cold and rainy out everywhere else in the world, but it’s warm and colorful in Palm Springs right now.

Here is Ace Hotel’s blurb on the paintings: “ Paintings from the pool at Ace Hotel & Swim Club, posted to our Facebook page this weekend by NYC-based artist Samantha French. The paintings will be up in a solo exhibition at the Left Bank Gallery in Essex, Connecticut from May 5 to June 14.”
