Things 2 Do Thursday

Palm-Springs-Girls1

Don’t you wish they all could be Palm Springs girls??!?!

THURSDAY NIGHT:

CONGRATULATIONS to DJ Day for holding down Reunion for not one, but TWO years now!!! That has to be record breaking in Coachella Valley history…. especially when it comes to “cool” things to do for “younger” people.  Mucho props!!  It’s their 2 year anniversary… so go show ‘em some lovie dovie.

FRIDAY NIGHT:

January 20, it’s a night of Baltimore underground with DJ Schwarz and DJ Mark Brown

An all aged show in Downtown Palm Springs…. whoop whoop swaaaaag

The CVAS <3′s East of LA!!  eastofla.com is our brother from another mother.  The Coachella Valley’s very own, Alf Alpha, headlines their rooftop party and let me tell you… I’ve been to almost all of these and they are woooonderful!  Wooooooonderful as in, waaaaaaay too much fun.  Know what I mean?  How can I go about describing this party without sounding like a complete alcoholic?  Hmmm….. can’t.  It’s definitely worth the drive/experience up to Pomona for the show.

SATURDAY NIGHT:

Pappy and Harriets show this Saturday!!  For all you freaky folk!

Calling All Kids is a weekly live music showcase at the Hyperion tavern in Silver Lake championed by incurable beat heads Matthewdavid and sodapop – a favorite among beat-centric Angelenos and winner of an illustrious LA Weekly’s Best of Award. They’re headed to the desert to present a weekend of good sound with friends Raleigh Moncrief, Low Limit and Butchy Fuego.

It says, ‘Go Sunday’, but really it’s on a Saturday.  Go figure.

SUNDAY NIGHT:

One of our favorite desert bands, The Country, will be performing at Pappy & Harriets this Sunday evening.  Seriously, a must.

JANUARY 28th!!:
