With so much going on in the desert this weekend, you would think it’s some kind of holiday or themed weekend….no, it’s just the locals doing what they have to do to make it happen.  This is, what you call, making culture.  Together, as a community, we create our own nightlife and platform for artists to perform at.  Without relying on tourists we confide in ourselves to support one another and our local venues/bars.  And we, over here at The Coachella Valley Art Scene, love that.

THURSDAY NIGHT:

The Dum Dum Girls, Young Prisms, and Sisu at Pappy & Harriet’s in Pioneertown!

FRIDAY NIGHT:

Tribe-O at The Hood in Palm Desert, CA – show starts at 9pm

At the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs – DJ Kyle Mabson curates a night of live music with bands that we think are awesome — locals, aliens, domestics, and adventurers of all ilks. May 18 we’re hosting special guests, Family Time Records artists, No Paws and Rapid Youth.

Outside, poolside, at the Palm Springs Travelodge.  Tiki Caliente is in it’s 4th year of production.  Saturday night live music acts include: The Deadbeat Daddies & The Hula Girls.  Show starts at 5pm!  Come hungry!  #KeepPalmSpringsWeird
